A swirl of soft, creamy milk ice cream drizzled with golden, raw honey. That’s the simple beauty behind HoneyMee, a rapidly expanding dessert shop concept opening at Harvard Place in Irvine late fall.
There are only five choices on the menu, all with a base of “true milk ice cream” that’s made without any artificial colors or flavors, just fresh California milk from a certified Kosher dairy factory. The “HoneyMee” comes topped with a 100-percent natural honeycomb chip that’s delicately sweet, while the “Sweetie” features a drizzle of liquid amber honey. Not feeling like honey? Try the “Dear,” draped in Ghirardelli chocolate or caramel and finished with a sprinkling of French sea salt. The “Babee” is any of the above tucked in a sweet bun.
